BEAUTY TIPS FROM THE LIGHT TOUCH SPA
1. If you have pale skin, try using blue-based reds in lipsticks and glosses.
2. Prevent feathering of lipstick by filling in your lips with the same color of lip liner as your lipstick.
3. For a very modern look red lipsticks and little eye make up brings you into fall of 2009. Do not forget your brows! Define them.
4. Are you in your 30’s? Choose colors carefully. In your 20’s you can get by with anything. However going toward 30’s and older, it is harder to carry off Unflattering colors.
5. Are you in your 40’s? Try brighter colors in clothes as well as make-up. Make sure they are very light in texture.
6. Are you in your 50’s? Lips!lips! In addition, lips! Matt is the best look at this time. Avoid anything sparkly.
7. Are you in your 60’s? use soft rose reds seem to compliment all skin colors
8. Are you in your 70’s? Keep it simple in clothing. Monotones are best. If you have gray hair, a soft gray eye shadow looks great. Soft look and a light touch with your makeup. A pink or apricot blush complements you the most.
9. If your skin is oily and blotchy. Use an oil free foundation (we mix the perfect one here at the spa). Bronze powders are a great addition. Go light on the powder and use blotting papers, which should be handy in your purse at all, times. In this way, the skin will not get a build up of products on the oily skin.
10. For those of us who have red blotchy skin and blemishes, use a yellow concealer and yellow powder.
11. Dry skin: use a yellow tinted moisturizer that is lighter than a regular foundation. Follow with a bronzer and then spray your face with a hydrating product. You will look fresh and dewy.
12. We all have tired eyes occasionally. Tip, get sleep!! If that does not work, then use a yellow concealer from the inner corner of your eyes and follow under the yes. I do but the professionals say do not go around under the eyes. Use a shade lighter than your foundation. Apply with a brush. Then apply a grey or black liner to the top of the eyelid. By using a bit of peach concealer next to the other concealer will help as well

Right on! As a girl in college, almost graduating, I totally agree on this. It is amazing the things we can learn about our hair, the different hairstyles, especially once we start using all natural hair products.
Exciting stuff you talk about here. Nearly a 1 sided argument don’t you think?
